If the weather lets you down this half term, here are some e-learning activities to keep you busy!
1) The Night ZooKeeper has visited Cornist and worked with many of the KS2 children. He now has a new online game to combine literacy, art and digital skills. Visit play.nightzookeeper.com, press PLAY and create a new account.
2) Don't forget that every chid at Cornist has access to all the wonderful activities on the award winning site, Purple Mash. This is a great opportunity to have fun whilst enhancing literacy and numeracy skills. Remember to save any work on Purple Mash so that you can show your teacher when you get back to school! Or why not tweet you teacher to tell him or her what you have done!
3) The 100 Word Challenge or 5 Sentence Challenge is a fantastic way to put those literacy skills to good use and share your work with the whole wide world! If you don't have a blog to post your work on, email it to cornistpark@gmail.com and we will blog it for you on our school website.
4) We are big fans of game based learning at Cornist. Why not use Minecraft to create something linked to your topic e.g a rainforest (Years 3/4) or a skatepark (Years 5/6). Remember to screenshot your work or bring your device in to show us!
Please leave a comment below if you have any other good ideas for e-learning activities.
