eCadet Challenge 3 complete!

We have been very busy completing challenge three this half term! Here is a full update of our activities towards challenge three.

1) We designed two posters. One for Year 3 & 4 (created by Lugh and Dom). The other was aimed at Year 5 & 6 (created by Hannah and Thomas). 

We made our posters interactive using QR codes which linked to our Explain Everything videos to show children which search engines are best. Thomas and Hannah added an extra interactive feature to their poster by using an app called ThingLink.

2) We wanted to spread our esafety message further so we put our posters in the local library. 

3) We tried to complete the bonus challenge by asking Jade Jones to be our honorary eCadet but she hasn't replied yet! :-(

4) Because we hadn't heard from Jade Jones we starting talking about it and came up with the idea of having a community eCadet! So we sent an email to Kate from Flint library to ask her if she would be our community eCadet. She replied to say 'yes!'. 

She is coming into school next week and we will have a special eCadet assembly to present her with a special eCadet badge. We will also share the posters and the video clips attached to them with the school. Each class representative of the School Council will then be responsible for displayed a poster in their classroom.
