eCadets in Cardiff

After coming joint first for the final eCadet video challenge we got on the train at eight o'clock for our three hour journey to Cardiff. When we got to Cardiff we had our lunch at Cardiff Castle. Once we had finished we made our way to the Hilton Hotel to meet Patricia Cartes (the Global eSafety Lead for Twitter) and Dani from eTreble9. We had our meeting with Patricia in the boardroom at the Hilton Hotel.

We asked Patricia lots of questions about the internet, e-safety, her jobs, how she works, how safe she is online and how safe is Twitter.

Patricia told us that she'd had three different jobs. First she worked at Google then Facebook and is now working for Twitter. After the meeting we got eCadet certificates for completing the eCadet scheme 2014 and for being top of the league table for Flintshire. Patricia brought us some Twitter goodies from the Twitter HQ in London too!

On the way back to the train station Mrs Thomas bought us each an ice cream. By the time we had finished our ice cream it was time to get on the train and come home.  We all had an amazing time in Cardiff and can't wait to carry on the eCadet scheme in September.
