Scratch in KS2

Today in Year 3/4 we have been creating maze games using Scratch. We began by going outside on the playground to plan our games using chalk.

Then we returned to class to begin creating the maze games with Scratch. We added sprites, a maze background and figured out how to make the sprite move when we pressed the arrow keys. The next challenge was to make the sprite bounce backwards when it hit the walls of our maze!

We invited some of the Foundation Phase children to come and play our games. We had lots of nice feedback from them!
