Suddenly a man appeared in front of them. He had wide, tired eyes, an upturned nose and a enormous grin.
"That man hasn't come out of that building for years, there's no need to worry"exclaimed the man.
Surprised, the siblings stared at him .
"How do you know"? Questioned the youngest. He ignored them.
"Don't ever go in that building "said the man- for some reason his voice lower,the children wondered... But why, why.
They looked back, the shape of the figure looked dangerous and familiar, so very familiar.they looked back once more and thought.... Why,why, why....
Lots of great dialogue in this 100WC piece, which is perfect for the prompt. I like the description of the man in the second sentence. Good to see 'exclaimed' and 'questioned' as alternatives to 'said'.
