In class, we are learning how to write news reports. We wrote the following report as a class and we are very proud of it!

                 BIG BAD WOLF BLOWS AND GOES!!

Yesterday at dawn, near the village of Pigville, Mr Wolf blew down the houses of Mr Pig1 and Mr Pig2. 

At 7.30 am yesterday morning, Mr Pig1 claims that, whilst he was eating his breakfast, he heard an echoing howl from the nearby forest. Moments later, Mr Pig reported that he saw a large black figure approaching the house. Mr Pig responded by locking all the doors and windows; and says that he hid under the bed and was frozen to the spot with fear. 

Mr Pig went on to state that Mr Wolf shouted “Come out, come out wherever you are!” and he replied,

“Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!” He went on to tell us that, without any warning, the Big Bad Wolf “Huffed and he puffed and he blew my straw house down!” 

After that, fearing for his life, Mr Pig ran to his brother’s (Mr Pig2) house for safety. When interviewed, Mr Pig 2 also claimed that the same events took place at his wooden house; and they (Mr Pig 1 and Mr Pig 2) had no choice but to flee to their sister’s (Miss Piggy) house.

 Another witness came forward – a lady by the name of Miss Piggy, who happens to be the big sister of the two brothers. In contrast, her account of what happened when Mr Wolf turned up at her house, was quite different. She says that the suspect knocked politely on the door, but as her brothers were so afraid, she didn’t answer; and as a result, the wolf left and went away and hasn’t been seen since. 

Presently, Mr Wolf is on the run, so BEWARE! Keep away from the woods and make sure your piglets are inside by sunset. If you encounter the beast, runaway and contact PC Pig immediately. Further investigations and questioning will be taking place in order to solve the crime.
