Well, the long summer holidays are over and it's time to get back to work!! We hope you have all had a happy, restful holiday full of memories for you to think about until next summer.
As we are only in school for two days this week, we will be gently starting back to work.
We will be practicing the letters and sounds learnt so far, and reading and spelling CVC/CVCC words. We will be counting up to 10/20, ordering the numbers then starting to make 'teens' numbers. We will be having a 'getting to know you' circle time then making an 'Affirmation Tree' for display in the classroom. The children will be thinking about classroom rules which are fair and achievable. We will be playing some Welsh games to practice our vocabulary.
