National Christmas jumper day Friday 12th December

This year we have decided to wear our festive jumpers to support local charity North Wales super kids.
The charity was formed by local volunteer Margaret Williams MBE  of Windsor Drive Cornist ....so a charity very close to home.
Margaret's work has been recognised by the Queen and she has earned many awards for her dedication to her charity.
In her own words she writes about the North wales super kids charity .....
I founded North Wales Super KIds following my retirement from Denbighshire Social Services where amongst many of my duties was supporting families , I was always asked to help families especially at christmas time when financial difficulties were at their highest and presents for the children were far and few between. This was a non statutory part of my work and so decided to form super kids as need was getting higher and higher and support less and less. We have currently 4, projects and at this of year our biggest project is our toy box appeal where we need to find a starting point of 14,000 new presents suitable for 1-18year olds who are referred to us via numerous voluntary and statutory agencies. It is simple without help youngsters would not be getting any presents.
Any form of help Cornist school feels able to give us, would be very much appreciated.
many thanks Margaret.
so please please no matter how small your donation really will make a difference.
if you know anyone who may benefit from super kids support please contact Margaret direct on 01352 761193

Children From Cornist park complete annual charity bike ride raising £22,408.52 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
The event is organised by parent Loz Harrison who was diagnosed with Chronic myeloid Leukaemia in 2009.
It would be great to have even more Cornist Kids join on Saturday JULY 4th  2015!
