year 1 and 2 C winter poetry

We have been looking for inspiration for our poetry writing. Our task was to write a winter poem. So in guided reading we read lots of different winter themed poems. We went outside to look for signs of winter. We played winter words games; we described what we do in winter and how winter makes us feel. We read lots of winter wow words. In our groups we worked together to produce a shared writing piece of poetry. Can you hear any wow words; any adjectives or any alliteration?
