Using our reading powers with Minecraft

In Year 3/4 we have been reading Tom's Midnight Garden for our class novel. This week we read chapter three and Tom discovered a mystery garden. We used our reading powers to visualise what the garden would have been like. We wrote a descriptive piece of writing using lots of adjectives and our five senses. We then used our writing to help us create the garden in Minecraft. We had to include lots of descriptive sentences in our writing otherwise we couldn't create it in Minecraft. If we created something new in Minecraft we had to edit our writing and add to it.
