This weeks stars in Year5/6b...

There are so many children working their socks off in Year 5/6 but here are our shining stars this week....

Planet Mars voted Carin as their star of the week for her excellent listening skills, being a kind friend and always setting a good example in class by working hard! Bendigedig Carin 🌟

Lots of good literacy work going on in class this week, we have been busy Science reporters - researching, taking notes and organising information ready to write a report on a planet next week, we have also been practising our Oracy skills - on No Pens Wednesday we used iMovie to create a news report about the Apollo 11! You all did a brilliant job and had lots of fun...but our Literacy Star this week is Jack for his super effort in these tasks, keep it up Jack! 👍

I am always listening out for children using their Welsh language skills in class. I have awarded Aaron our 'Seren Cymraeg' this week for his continual efforts to use his welsh language skills in different situations - ardderchog Aaron! 🌟

Planet Mars were table of the week again this week...proving that working as a team has it's rewards! Keep it up!👏

And finally......huge congratulations to Daisy, Laila, Laura and the rest of the girls football team this week on your fantastic tournament victory! Outstanding performance girls, well done! ⚽️
