Year Three/Four have been improving their descriptive writing skills using an app called Epic Citadel. They had plenty of time to explore the world of Epic Citadel and take lots of screen shots before using the Pages app to type their descriptive sentences using senses such as sight, smell, hear, taste and touch. They then used iMovie to add their screen shots from Epic Citadel and narrate their descriptive sentences over them. Click on the links below to watch the iMovies:

Year 3 also explored the world of Epic Citadel and thought about adjectives to describe it. Using a screen shot from their adventures in Epic Citadel they used an app called Wordfoto to add a variety of adjectives to their image. They then placed their image in iMovie and added audio using their adjectives. This was also a great opportunity to learn about using commas and the word 'and' when writing or saying items in a list.
