Round and round the garden Week 2

This week, the children will be learning about Woolly Wendy and the Snowdon Lily. They will be using the lilies in our Maths work and looking at 'one less'. They will be practising their Welsh, asking 'Ga I blodau 2/3/4/5?' They will be making lilies at the Creative Table and using 2Simple Paint  on the computer to draw some lilies. In the Construction Area, they will be building a protective fence around the last lily and writing a 'Do not touch' label for it.
We will also be finding out about the story of Gelert. The children will be sequencing pictures to tell the story then using some props to dramatise the story.
In the Sand, the children will be using the letter pebbles to try to spell the 'garden' themed words. In the Water tray, the children will be practising their filling and pouring skills with the flowers in the flower pots and watering cans.
