Pacman in Year Five

Year Five have had a very busy afternoon. They were lucky enough to have two teachers today for some team teaching! Year Five have begun a new topic on programming which will eventually build up to creating their own pacman game using software called Scratch. The focus of today was problem solving and teamwork. After using the iPad to play on Pacman, Mr Elliot set Year Five a challenge to create their own life size Pacman in the hall using equipment from the PE storeroom! The children had to think about lots of different aspects of the game such as the layout, time, speed of the characters, routes etc.
