Last week in class we used the iPads to carry out our guided reading task. The children thoroughly enjoyed using the iPads. using an e book makes reading fun and can often encourage reluctant readers. It also allows children the opportunity to access books that we have in school at home. Fantastic if they are absent , forgot to take their book home or would like more reading. Children will know which book band they are on and will recognise the levels.
There are 250 books to be accessed for free, following the story are activities to go with the story. Many of these develop their phonetic awareness
